PSL 11 Auction: Naseem Shah most expensive, Several Players Selected at Lowest Price

The auction ceremony for the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League was held at the Lahore Expo Center today, in which each team formed its squad of 16 to 20 members.

More than 800 domestic and foreign players were registered in the players’ auction held in Lahore. Among them, the details of who were the most expensive and cheapest players and for how much money which team bought them have been revealed.

The most expensive player in the player auction was Pakistani fast bowler Naseem Shah, who was bought by the Rawalpindi team for Rs 86.5 million. Pakistani all-rounder Faheem Ashraf was made a part of their squad by Islamabad United for Rs 85 million.

Among the foreign players, New Zealand’s aggressive middle-order batsman Daryl Mitchell was the most expensive, who was acquired by Rawalpindi for Rs 85 million.

On the other hand, the list of players selected at the lowest prices was also quite long. Sialkot Stallions bought Muhammad Owais Zafar, Laklan Shaw, Delano Potgieter and Jahanzeb Sultan for Rs 6 million each, while Peshawar Zalmi added Mirza Tahir Baig, Muhammad Naheed Rana and Khalid Usman to the squad for Rs 6 million each.
