iPhone 18 to arrive in September, base model could be expensive

Apple's next major iPhone launch is expected in September 2026. This time the lineup will include the iPhone 18, iPhone 18 Air, iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.
The news regarding pricing is somewhat mixed. The base iPhone 18 model could be more expensive than last year as manufacturing and shipping costs have increased due to global supply chain issues and geographical tensions. Apple could pass on some of these costs to consumers.
On the other hand, the prices of the Pro models are likely to remain stable as Apple already makes a good profit on them, making it easier to absorb the increased cost.
Remember about the iPhone 17, it was launched with 256 GB of base storage at almost the same price as the previous 128 GB, which led to a significant increase in sales. Now it remains to be seen what new Apple offers in the iPhone 18 and whether the enthusiasm of fans will remain despite the price increase.
