Fakhar Zaman's appeal rejected, two-match ban upheld

The Pakistan Cricket Board’s technical committee has rejected Fakhar Zaman’s appeal in the ball-tampering case and upheld his two-match ban.

Fakhar Zaman had filed an appeal against his suspension, but the committee, after hearing all the evidence and arguments, upheld the decision of match referee Roshan Mahanama.

The ban was imposed for violating the code of conduct during a Pakistan Super League match played at Gaddafi Stadium on March 29.

According to the decision, Fakhar Zaman will no longer be able to participate in future matches against Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators.

The PCB’s technical committee, which included Professor Javed Malik, Dr. Mumrez Naqshband and Syed Ali Naqvi, made it clear that this decision is final and will be fully implemented.
