Bishnoi gang threatens Ranveer Singh with Rs 10 crore bribe

According to Indian media reports, Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has been demanded to pay Rs 10 crore extortion by the infamous Bishnoi gang, otherwise he has been threatened with death.
According to reports, the actor’s manager received this threat through a voice note sent from a US number. Police officials say that the voice heard in the message may allegedly be that of gang operative Harry Boxer. The Mumbai Crime Branch has started a preliminary investigation into the incident and US agencies are also being contacted to trace the original source of the call.
Reports have said that the matter came to light recently after the success of Ranveer Singh’s action film “Dharendra”. The same gang is also accused of firing outside director Rohit Shetty’s house a few days ago and attacking comedian Kapil Sharma’s restaurant.
The name of this gang has also come up in the past in connection with the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala and threats made to actor Salman Khan.
