Indian superstar Yash's best film Toxic has been postponed once again and this time no new release date has been given. The filmmakers said on social media that the release is being postponed to reach a larger audience globally. It should be remembered that the film was earlier scheduled to release on March 19, but after the US-Iran tensions, it was postponed to June 4, 2026 and now the June date has also expired.
Interestingly, this decision came after the film's presentation at 'CinemaCon' where global distributors and industry figures gave a positive response to the film. Despite this, the repeated delays have angered the fans. Many users say that the hype of the film has died down and now it should be released on OTT instead of cinemas. One user said that the repeated delays are losing public interest while another said that if it is not released in June too, they will not watch the film. Some fans reacted through memes while some are still waiting patiently.
Along with Yash, the film also stars Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth and Tara Sutaria in important roles.
