Australia Sets Unique Record in Second Ashes Test

Australia has achieved a remarkable milestone during the second Test of the ongoing Ashes series, becoming only the third team in its history — and the first ever in Ashes cricket since 1882 — to have all 11 players score in double figures in a single innings.
In response to England’s first-innings total of 334 runs, the Australian side posted 511 runs at the Gabba. The standout aspect of their innings was the consistency across the batting lineup, with every player contributing at least 10 runs.
Australia previously accomplished this feat only twice — against India in 1948 and against Sri Lanka in 1992.
However, despite this rare record, it is notable that none of the Australian batsmen managed to score a century. The total of 511 runs without a single century is the fifth-highest team score in Test cricket history achieved without a three-figure individual performance.
