Will Sutherland ruled out of T20 Blast due to injury

Australian all-rounder Will Sutherland has been ruled out of the T20 Blast, where he was due to represent Yorkshire County Cricket Club, due to a shoulder injury.

Will Sutherland, who also captains the Victoria cricket team and Melbourne Renegades, played three County Championship matches and 12 Blast matches for Yorkshire last season.

According to the team's general manager Gavin Hamilton, he had become an important and popular member of the squad and high expectations were expected of him this season.

According to reports, Will Sutherland was diagnosed with a stress fracture in his shoulder after the Sheffield Shield final last month, after which the club confirmed that he would not be available this season.

A statement issued by the Yorkshire club said that he would not be able to participate in this year's Blast tournament due to injury, while a decision regarding a replacement player will be made later.
