Pakistani showbiz industry's renowned actress Mahira Khan has said that she is completely satisfied with the current stage of her life and she is not worried that a time will come when she will stop getting traditional heroine roles.

In a session titled "Character from Story" during a literary and cultural event held in Dubai, Mahira Khan spoke openly about fame, success and changing roles with age.

She said that people associated with the film industry often start living in a limited circle, due to which they become distant from the ground realities and common life experiences. It is important for an artist to step out of this circle from time to time and understand the real world.

Mahira Khan said that when she started working on the character of her new film, she strongly realized that it was necessary to distance herself from the film environment to better fulfill this role. After entering politics, she got the opportunity to meet people from different classes, which further broadened her thinking.

She said that fame and success are temporary things, so she does not consider them the purpose of her life. She is enjoying her current age and stage to the fullest.

Mahira Khan also requested directors and producers to not limit her to specific or traditional roles but to give her opportunities in different and unique roles so that she can also present new aspects of her acting.
