The Pakistan Hockey Federation has released funds worth Rs 45 million (45 million) for national players.
The funds released through the efforts of PHF President Mohiuddin Ahmed Wani include prize money and advance daily allowances for qualifying for the World Cup by the Prime Minister.
This is the first time in the history of Pakistan Hockey that all the daily allowances of the players have been paid in full before they leave for a major international tournament.
Now, senior and junior players will be given a daily allowance of US $ 110 during international tours, which is the highest allowance ever. In addition, the best accommodation and food facilities will also be provided.
Mohiuddin Ahmed Wani said that this move shows the government’s commitment to supporting national players. Their aim is to provide an environment where players can focus fully on the field by freeing them from financial worries.
After this grant, the national hockey team will now leave for the Pro League with peace of mind and full commitment.
