Pakistan's foreign exchange reserves reach $22.64 billion

Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves are continuously increasing.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the country’s total foreign exchange reserves reached US$22.636 billion during the week ending May 29, 2026.
The reserves held by the State Bank remained at US$17.194 billion, while commercial banks held net foreign exchange of US$5.4456 billion.
The central bank’s reserves increased by US$43 million during the week under review.
These stable foreign exchange reserves are considered an important positive indicator regarding external payments and the country’s financial stability.
