Abrar Ahmed's impressive rise in ODI rankings, he achieved fourth position

Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed has achieved a career-best position in the latest ICC ODI rankings after performing brilliantly.

Abrar Ahmed has moved up 7 places to reach the fourth position with 633 rating points.

Pakistan captain Shaheen Shah Afridi has also moved up 4 places due to his excellent bowling in the ongoing ODI series against Australia and is now in 13th position.

Afghanistan's Rashid Khan is first in the ODI bowlers' rankings, England's Jofra Archer is second and South Africa's Keshav Maharaj is third.

There has been no major change in the batting rankings. New Zealand's Daryl Mitchell is first, India's Virat Kohli is second and Afghanistan's Ibrahim Zadran remains in third place. Pakistan's Babar Azam is sixth with 687 points, while Salman Ali Agha has dropped 4 places to 14th position.

England's Joe Root is at the top of the Test batting rankings with 880 points. Harry Brook is second and Australia's Travis Head is third.
Among Test bowlers, Pakistan's Nouman Ali is fourth with 817 points.
