Digital Internship Program for Women Launched in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has launched a special digital internship program to bring women forward in technology and digital skills. Under this scheme, selected candidates will be given a monthly stipend of Rs 30,000 for six months, so that they can be financially stable while learning.

The women included in the program will be given practical training in cutting-edge fields such as artificial intelligence, UI/UX design, web and app development, graphic design and digital marketing. The aim is to provide participants with not only theoretical knowledge but also real work experience.

The interns will be deployed in companies affiliated with the province’s IT Park, Digital Transformation Unit and KPITB headquarters, where they will be able to improve their skills by working with industry experts.

Interested women can submit their applications on the official portal of joinit.kp.gov.pk, while the last date for applying has been set for March 13, 2026.
