Australia tour of Bangladesh, schedule for ODI and T20 series released

The schedule for the Australia national cricket team's tour of Bangladesh has been released, with a limited-overs series between the two teams to be played in June.

The series will consist of three ODIs and three T20Is. The ODIs will be played in Dhaka on June 9, 11 and 14, while the T20Is will be held in Chattogram on June 17, 19 and 21.

The timings of the matches have not been announced yet, but due to fuel shortages, the matches are likely to be played during the day, as was seen in the recent series against the New Zealand national cricket team.

This will be Australia's second bilateral T20 series in Bangladesh, with Bangladesh winning the five-match series 4-1 in 2021.

Additionally, Australia will tour Bangladesh for the first ODI series since 2011, before playing three ODIs in Pakistan, which will begin after the conclusion of the Indian Premier League.
