Possibility of a friendly football match between Pakistan and Argentina

A friendly football match is being held between Pakistan and Argentina, for which initial contacts have been initiated.

According to media reports, talks are underway between the Pakistan Football Federation and the Argentine Football Association in this regard.

In the initial talks, the friendly match between the two teams as well as football development programs have been discussed. According to sources, various issues were discussed in the online meeting and both the federations agreed to increase cooperation.

According to reports, this match can possibly be played this year after the FIFA World Cup 2026, however, the final date in this regard is yet to be announced.

In addition, under the coaching and development program, Argentine coaches can come to Pakistan and train local players, which is expected to help improve the quality of football in the country.
