Peshawar Zalmi wins PSL 11 title, Babar Azam is the best batsman of the tournament

The 11th edition of Pakistan Super League came to an end with a grand closing ceremony and fireworks at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. In the final, Peshawar Zalmi defeated Hyderabad Kingsmen to win the PSL title for the second time.
Talking about the awards, Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam scored 588 runs with the help of two centuries in the entire tournament and won the title of the most successful batsman of the event along with Hanif Muhammad Cap. Peshawar Zalmiβs Sufiyan Muqeem took 22 wickets to win the title of the most successful bowler and Fazal Mahmood won the cap.
In other awards, Peshawar Zalmiβs youngster Farhan Yousuf won the best fielder award, the tournamentβs second most successful batsman Kushal Mendis won the best wicketkeeper award and Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan won the best all-rounder award. Haneen Shah, who successfully defended 6 runs in the last over of Eliminator 2 to take Hyderabad Kingsmen to the final, was named the Best Emerging Player, while Asif Yaqoob won the Best Umpire award.
