PCB prepares new draft of central contracts for 2026-27

The Pakistan Cricket Board has drafted new remuneration and categories for the 2026-27 central contracts.
The new system proposes to divide players into four tracks (A, B, C and D) based on different formats.
Suggested monthly salary structure:

• Track A (Red Ball/Test Specialist): Up to Rs 40 lakh per month
• Track AB (Test and ODI): Rs 48 to 50 lakh per month (annual income of more than Rs 5 crore)
• Track BC (White Ball): Up to Rs 18 lakh per month
• Track C (T20 Specialist): Rs 12 to 15 lakh per month
• Track D (Emerging Players/NCA): Up to Rs 10 lakh per month

Match Fee:

• Test: Rs 15 lakh
• One Day: Rs 7.5 lakh
• T20: Rs 5 lakh

Special bonuses based on performance have also been proposed. Winning an ICC event can get 500% of the match fee and winning an ACC event can get 300% bonus.
Players will also be allowed to play in different leagues, however, it will be according to the track and category of each player.
The PCB is expected to announce the final announcement of new central contracts soon.
