US President Donald Trump has been given permission to present the trophy to the winning team in the 2026 FIFA World Cup final and celebrate with the team.
According to foreign news agencies, Trump will be able to be present on stage with the winning team in the final to be held at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on July 19.
Sources say that FIFA has no objection to Trump breaking presentation protocol and presenting the trophy directly to the winning captain. He has also been allowed to be present on the podium at the celebration of the winning team.
It should be remembered that last year, Trump presented the trophy to the winning team Chelsea in the FIFA Club World Cup final at MetLife Stadium and participated in their celebration.
