Two men charged with stealing England team equipment during World Cup

Two men have been charged with stealing England football team equipment during the ongoing FIFA World Cup in the United States.

According to foreign news agencies, Mustafa Salik and Irfan Kamal have been charged with possession of stolen goods.

Authorities say the stolen goods are worth about $18,000, including England team kits and other essential equipment.

According to the statement, the equipment was stolen while it was being transported from England’s training camp in Florida to the World Cup base in Kansas City.

According to investigating authorities, the allegedly stolen equipment was recovered from the possession of the two suspects, after which they were charged.

Under state law, those involved in this crime can be sentenced to a maximum of seven years in prison.

After the incident, authorities have indicated that they will further tighten the security of World Cup-related team equipment and logistics.
