OpenAI introduces GPT-5.5, bringing the dream of a 'super app' closer to reality

OpenAI has introduced its most powerful AI model to date, GPT-5.5, which the company calls a “new class of intelligence.” The model is capable of operating autonomously without human supervision, meaning it doesn’t need to be instructed at every step, but can complete complex tasks on its own.
