WhatsApp support on older iPhones is about to end

WhatsApp is going to end support on older iPhone models soon. According to a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp will stop working on certain older iPhones after November 30, 2026.

For this, iOS 15.5 or later version will now be mandatory. Earlier, iOS 15.1 was sufficient, but now the limit has been increased.

After this change, users with iPhone 6s and similar older models will have to update their devices to iOS 15.5 or later to be able to use WhatsApp.

Similarly, WhatsApp support will also end on phones older than Android 6 from September 8, 2026.
