Sega officially announces Crazy Taxi World Tour

Gaming company Sega has officially announced the release of the popular game Crazy Taxi: World Tour. The game will be released in 2027.

The first full look at the new game was shown in a trailer released today during the Xbox Games Showcase. The game is being developed for PC, PlayStation 5, Switch 2 and Xbox Series X/S.

The project was announced in late 2023 and Sega has big ambitions for this reboot. The company has described it as an open-world, massively multiplayer AAA title.

Interestingly, the game's soundtrack will also include the famous song All I Want from The Offspring, which will bring great nostalgia to old fans.

Kenji Kano, the creator of the original Crazy Taxi, is also part of the project again.

The game will feature five different cities around the world, online multiplayer modes, a classic arcade mode and a full story-based campaign.

Sega is also working on new games for its other popular franchises: Jet Set Radio, Shinobi, Golden Axe, and Streets of Rage.
