WhatsApp is about to introduce the 'Status Archive' feature

Instant messaging app WhatsApp is preparing to introduce a new feature called ‘Status Archive’, which will allow users to save their expiring status updates in a private archive.

Statuses on WhatsApp usually disappear automatically after 24 hours. Under the new feature, once the statuses expire, they will automatically be moved to a private archive, which only the account owner will be able to access.

In this way, users will be able to revisit their old statuses whenever they want.

According to WhatsApp Beta Info, this feature is currently being rolled out to some Android beta users and is expected to be released to general users in the coming weeks.

This feature will prove to be very useful for users who do not want to lose important or memorable statuses forever.
