Technology giant Google has officially unveiled its new mid-range smartphone, the Google Pixel 10a, which focuses on delivering flagship-style features at a relatively low price.
The new model is the latest addition to the company's A-series, which is specifically designed for users who want advanced AI features, strong camera performance, and long-term software support at a low price. The Pixel 10a has a starting price of $499, and is positioned as a low-cost entry device in the Pixel ecosystem.
The phone features a 6.3-inch Actua display, which is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, while it includes an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. According to the company, this is the most durable Pixel phone in the A-series to date.
The device is said to have a battery life of over 30 hours, while for the first time in the A-series, a satellite SOS feature has also been added, through which users can contact emergency services even in the absence of a mobile network.
