YouTube Music limits lyrics for free users, prioritizes premium users

Popular music streaming service YouTube Music has limited the ability to view song lyrics for its free users, after which the feature is now mostly reserved for premium users.
According to the new policy, users using free accounts will only be able to view full song lyrics up to a certain limit. When this limit is reached, they will be shown only the first few words of the song, while the rest of the lyrics will be hidden and a message will appear to take a premium subscription.
In addition, YouTube Music will regularly inform users how many more song lyrics they are eligible to view. The company says that the aim of this move is to attract users to a premium subscription for additional facilities.
It should be noted that this feature was initially tested on a limited level, but now it is being gradually expanded to more users. YouTube has not yet issued any official statement in this regard.
