WhatsApp is also on the path to paid subscriptions — 'WhatsApp Plus' is coming soon

Meta is preparing to introduce a premium subscription plan for WhatsApp, called WhatsApp Plus. The company says the subscription will be completely optional and will not affect basic features like free messaging, calling and privacy.

WhatsApp Plus will include features to customize the app to suit your personal preferences, such as paid stickers, custom ringtones, themes, wallpapers and app icons. However, all these changes will only be visible to the subscriber, not to other people in the chat. In addition, subscribers will be able to pin 20 chats at a time, which is more than the average user.
