Business community welcomes fixed tax scheme

All Pakistan Traders Association and Markazi Tanzeem Traders Pakistan have welcomed the government’s new fixed tax scheme and termed it auspicious.
President of All Pakistan Traders Association Ajmal Baloch said that the government has introduced the Tax Asan scheme. This is the first time that the government’s economic team has come out of the FBR and created this scheme. Traders want to pay tax.
He said that for the first time, the form has been made in five languages. Traders will pay one percent tax on turnover and under this scheme, an FBR representative will not visit the shop of the person filing the return.
President of Markazi Tanzeem Traders Pakistan Kashif Chaudhry said that despite paying 27 types of taxes, traders were accused of not being in the retail tax net. Small traders were afraid to submit returns because of the FBR.
Now it has become easier for small traders to file tax returns. Rs 25,000 will be collected from the shopkeeper. He hoped that the government will announce it in the budget according to the agreed tax system.
Both organizations praised the government and the economic team and said that this would increase the confidence of traders in the government.
