The price of 4 tickets for the FIFA World Cup final has reached 1.7 million pounds

The prices of tickets for the FIFA World Cup final at Metlife Stadium on July 19 are skyrocketing. On FIFA’s official resale platform, four seats behind the goalposts in the lower tier of the stadium are being sold for ?1.7 million, which is worth millions in Pakistani rupees.

The best category one tickets start at £11,920 and go up to £1.7 million, while the cheapest tickets are available for around £8,089, which is far out of reach for the average person.

FIFA itself does not set the price of these tickets, but it does charge a 15% commission on every purchase and resale. If these four tickets are sold for £1.7 million, FIFA could earn around £2 million in commission from this single transaction, which is a staggering sum in itself.
