Shaheen Afridi fined, action taken for security violation

Lahore Qalandars have fined their captain Shaheen Shah Afridi Rs 1 million for violating security protocols.

A few days ago, reports emerged that Shaheen Afridi and Sikandar Raza allegedly tried to take some people to their hotel rooms, which Punjab Police accused of violating security regulations.

A letter was also sent by Punjab Police to the Pakistan Cricket Board and the PSL administration, in which it was taken a stand that unauthorized people were forcibly given access to the team floor.

The police had demanded strict measures to prevent such incidents in the future, after which the Lahore Qalandars administration took action internally and fined the captain.

According to team sources, this decision was taken to maintain discipline and avoid any violations in the future.
