Pakistan invites Korea for 4-Test series, opportunity to prepare before World Cup

Pakistan Hockey Federation President Mohiuddin Wani has said that the PHF has invited Korea to Pakistan for a four-match hockey series. Talks are still in the initial stages but the PHF wants the series to be played in Pakistan in the last week of July. The cities in which the matches will be held will be decided after the talks are completed.

This series is important because the Pakistan hockey team wants field practice before the Hockey World Cup to be held from August 15 to 30 and this series against Korea will be the best opportunity for this purpose. Pakistan is 12th in the world rankings and Korea is 20th.

Mohiuddin Wani said that if this tour is decided, international hockey will return to Pakistan soil which could be the beginning of a new journey.
