Pakistan's Foreign Exchange Reserves Increase Further, State Bank of Pakistan's Reserves Exceed $16 Billion

Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves have increased by $210 million in the past week. According to the released data, the foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan increased by $210 million in the week ending February 6, 2026, taking the central bank’s reserves to $16,177.8 billion.
The State Bank’s statement said that Pakistan’s total foreign exchange reserves were recorded at $21,374.7 billion as of February 6, 2026. These total reserves include the State Bank’s official reserves as well as the reserves of commercial banks.
According to the data, commercial banks currently have foreign exchange reserves of $5,196.9 billion, while the recent increase in official reserves is being described as a positive development for the country’s external financial situation.
