Momina Iqbal files a case against MPA Saqib Chaudhry at the police station

Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal reached Chowhang police station with her lawyers and filed a formal complaint against PML-N MPA Saqib Chaudhry on charges of death threats, harassment and blackmail. SHO Chowhang Inspector Faheem Imdad confirmed that the complaint has been received and the process for registering the case is underway.

A copy of the complaint has come to light, which states that in 2022, Saqib Chaudhry had proposed marriage to Momina Iqbal, but it was later found out that he had already been married twice. When the actress ended the relationship, Saqib Chaudhry became enraged and a series of harassment and threats started. Threats were also coming from his wife Sameera.

The most serious allegation is that when Momina Iqbal’s marriage was fixed, an attempt was made to blackmail her through fake photos and videos generated using AI and threatening messages were also sent to her sister and fianc Hamza.

Momina Iqbal has previously filed a complaint with the NCCIA and provided evidence, and also gave her written statement yesterday. Now, after the application at the police station, this matter has entered a further legal phase.
