In the 34th match of PSL 11, the atmosphere became heated when Faheem Ashraf was dismissed by Mohammad Amir. After being dismissed, Mohammad Amir signaled Faheem Ashraf to leave, which upset Faheem and he reacted strongly and tried to move towards Mohammad Amir. The two players came face to face and a heated argument ensued, however, other players intervened and prevented the matter from escalating.
The match referee took serious notice of the entire situation and declared both players guilty of violating the code of conduct and fined them 10% of their match fee each. This incident is an unfortunate moment in the history of PSL because both Mohammad Amir and Faheem Ashraf are experienced and well-known names in Pakistan cricket and such a repetition on the field is not considered good not only for the team but also for the reputation of the league.
