Jude Bellingham invests £1 million in Birmingham Phoenix

Famous English footballer Jude Bellingham has entered the world of cricket by buying a ?1 million stake in The Hundred team Birmingham Phoenix. The Real Madrid midfielder was raised in Birmingham, so the investment is also an expression of his love for his city.

Bellingham bought a total of 1.2% of the franchise, half of which was taken from Warwickshire and half from Knight Head Capital. After this purchase, Warwickshire holds 50.4% and Knight Head holds 48.4%.

It should be noted that American investment company Knight Head Capital, which also owns Birmingham City FC, bought a 49% stake in Birmingham Phoenix last year and became co-owners with Warwickshire. Now, with the addition of Bellingham, another big name has been added to the franchise.
