Hardik Pandya fined for violating IPL code of conduct

Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya has been punished for violating the IPL code of conduct. According to Indian media, he has been fined 10 percent of his match fee and has also been given a demerit point.

Actually, all this happened during the match played against Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens. Match referee Rajiv Seth held Hardik Pandya responsible for the Level 1 violation. Enraged, he hit the bails hard while returning to the crease, which is against Article 2.2 of the IPL.

Hardik Pandya admitted his mistake and also accepted the referee's punishment. The referee's decision on the Level 1 violation is final, there can be no appeal against it.
