Salman Agha hit notice board with bat on dismissal, ICC warned

Salman Ali Agha was dismissed in the 82nd over of the second innings of the Sylhet Test and, while returning to the pavilion, slammed his bat on the advertising board in anger. The ICC has issued an official warning for the act, calling it a Level One breach of the Code of Conduct and adding one Demerit Point to his Disciplinary Record.

This is his second breach in the last 24 months. A similar breach occurred in the ODI against Bangladesh in Dhaka in March. His total number of Demerit Points now stands at two.

Salman Agha admitted his mistake and accepted the punishment recommended by Match Referee Jeff Crowe, which did not require a formal hearing.
