UEFA has taken strict action in a very serious case and banned 42-year-old former coach Peter Vilachovsky from football for life. After an investigation, UEFA declared that the coach had engaged in unethical behavior and damaged the reputation of football.
The matter came to light in September 2023 when secretly recorded videos surfaced on the internet. The investigation revealed that the coach had hidden a camera in a bag and secretly filmed 14 female players, including underage girls, in dressing rooms and showers. A court in the Czech Republic had imposed a one-year suspended sentence and a five-year ban for this crime last year.
UEFA has instructed the Czech Football Association to immediately revoke the coach’s license. It has also requested FIFA to implement this ban worldwide so that this person cannot be associated with football anywhere.
