On the second day of WrestleMania 42, a memorable moment was witnessed at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas when Brock Lesnar allegedly signaled his retirement from wrestling.
Lesnar faced Nigerian giant Oba Femi, who defeated him in less than five minutes. After the match, the real drama began when Lesnar sat down in the middle of the ring and emotionally removed his gloves and shoes, which is traditionally considered a sign of retirement in wrestling. At this point, he hugged his longtime manager Paul Heyman and both were overcome with emotion.
However, some circles are calling it the beginning of a bigger story rather than a final retirement, and it was expected that if there was to be a retirement, it would have been at Summer Slam.
