FIFA has set the total prize money for the 2026 World Cup at $871 million at the council meeting held in Vancouver, which is the highest in the tournament’s history and almost double that of 2022. The details of the prize money are that each team will receive $10 million just for qualifying, which is more than $9 million in 2022.
