The number of mobile phone users in Pakistan is increasing rapidly. According to the latest data, the total number of mobile subscribers in the country has crossed 200 million.
According to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, the number of mobile subscribers was around 200 million as of December 2025. After adding about 2 million new subscribers in January 2026, this number increased to over 200 million.
According to the report, there has also been a clear increase in the number of high-speed internet users. The total number of 3G and 4G subscribers has now reached about 150 million.
Along with this, the country’s overall teledensity has also increased to about 82 percent, which indicates that both the penetration and usage of mobile networks are increasing.
Experts say that the increasing availability of mobile networks and modern technology have played a significant role in improving education, business, and employment opportunities, further expanding public access to digital facilities in the country.
