Quetta Gladiators also out of PSL 11, playoff race narrows further

After Rawalpindi, Quetta Gladiators have also been eliminated from the play-off race in the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League. After a major defeat at the hands of Lahore Qalandars, Quetta's chances of reaching the play-offs have become mathematically impossible. The team has won only 3 out of 9 matches and now their last match will be a mere formality.

On the other hand, the situation of the new franchise Rawalpindi is no different. Under the leadership of Mohammad Rizwan, the team has lost eight consecutive matches and has already been eliminated from the event.

Talking about the points table, Peshawar Zalmi is at the top with 15 points, Multan Sultans is second with 12 points, Islamabad United is third with 9 and Lahore Qalandars are fourth with 8 points. Quetta Gladiators, Hyderabad Kingsmen and Karachi Kings are at the fifth, sixth and seventh positions respectively with 6, 6 points.
