New updates to Windows 11 include many useful features for users

Microsoft has introduced several new features for Windows 11 in the first quarter of 2026, which are aimed at improving the everyday experience of users.
The most prominent feature is “Cross Device Resume”, through which users can continue the work started on their Android phone directly on the computer. This feature works through the Phone Link and Link to Windows apps.
Improvements have also been made for audio and music production, where better support for both MIDI 1.0 and 2.0 has been provided, as well as features such as shared MIDI ports and app-to-app communication have been added.
An interesting addition is the built-in network speed test, which allows users to check their internet speed without any third-party app.
Windows Hello has also been updated in terms of security and login, it now also supports external fingerprint readers.
A new device information card has been added to Settings, which shows complete details of the processor, RAM, graphics and storage in one place.
Furthermore, the Quick Machine Recovery feature has been expanded, which helps the system recover automatically from startup issues, while Sysmon has now been made part of the system, making it easier for advanced users to monitor the system.
Other updates include the ability to set WebP images as wallpaper and pan and tilt controls in the camera settings.
Overall, these updates are a significant step towards making Windows 11 smarter, more secure, and more user-friendly.
