Karachi Kings owner Salman Iqbal has expressed deep concern over empty stadiums during PSL matches.
In his statement on social platform X, he said that despite being a part of the league since its inception, the current scenario is disappointing, as the excitement of matches decreases without fans.
He appealed to Shehbaz Sharif to allow cricket fans to come back to the stadiums so that the excitement of the PSL can be restored.
He said that the real beauty of the Pakistan Super League is connected with the enthusiasm of the fans, and when the stadiums are empty, the enjoyment of the matches remains incomplete.
On the other hand, the new owner of Multan Sultans, Gohar Shah, also supported this stance and said that he is completely in favor of the return of fans.
Both the franchise owners expressed hope that the situation will improve soon and the stadiums will once again look full.
