Major progress in modern agriculture and livestock under Green Pakistan Initiative

The work of modernizing agriculture and livestock in the country under the Green Pakistan Initiative is progressing rapidly. Daisy Private Limited is playing a major role in this project, which is currently working on an area of more than 6500 acres.

According to the CEO Daisy Private Limited Professor Dr. Danish Salaheen, a project of 2000 acres in Rakh Ghulam and 4500 acres in Bahawalpur has been completed. The most interesting aspect is the use of IVF technology through which embryos of high-quality animals are being provided to ordinary farmers at low cost. In this way, those farmers who cannot afford to buy expensive animals will also be able to raise high-quality animals.

Team Member Shahid Saeed said that work was started in Rakh Ghulam in the name of Roha Farm in November. So far, 1500 acres have been cultivated, 10 Central Pivots have been installed and one is ready for harvest, while work is underway on another 500 acres.

Dr. Danish Salaheen says that modern genetic technology can bring about a major change in Pakistan's dairy and meat industries. If this model is successful, it will not only increase farmers' incomes but also reduce the country's dependence on imported food.
