ICC retains Elite Umpires Panel for 2026-27, Ahsan Raza re-inducted

The International Cricket Council has decided after its annual review that there will be no changes to the Elite Panel of Umpires and Match Referees for the 2026-27 season. The ICC Selection Panel has expressed confidence in the current panel after conducting a detailed review of the umpires’ performance, accuracy of decisions and professionalism.

Pakistan’s Ahsan Raza has once again been able to retain his place in the Elite Umpires Panel, which is good news for Pakistani cricket.

Kumar Dharmasena (Sri Lanka), Chris Gaffaney (New Zealand), Adrian Holdstock (South Africa), Richard Illingworth (England), Richard Kettleborough (England), Nitin Menon (India), Allahudien Paleker (South Africa), Ahsan Raza (Pakistan), Paul Reiffel (Australia), Sharfuddoula Ibne Shahid (Bangladesh), Rodney Tucker (Australia), Alex Wharf (England).
