Ball Mark controversy at French Open, both players refuse to shake hands

The match between Germany's Tamara Korpatsch and China's Wang Xinyu at the French Open took an unexpected turn. Korpatsch won 2-6, 6-2, 3-6, but the two players refused to shake hands at the end of the match.
The matter flared up when the chair umpire called Wang a shot-out at a controversial point. Wang went to the other side of the court to check the ball mark, which was an unusual move. The spectators booed her and the umpire also warned her for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
Korpatsch later said that she could not even think of cheating and that doing so would be embarrassing. She said that both the court umpire and the Hawk-Eye system confirmed that the ball was out. She was surprised that Wang accused her because the two had a good relationship before.
Korpatsch will now face Elina Svitolina in the next round.
