Apple is also preparing to join the high-resolution camera race like Android phones. According to the latest reports, the company is testing a 200-megapixel camera sensor for future iPhone models.
According to the details, Apple is currently checking a large 1/1.12-inch sensor, which could also be used in the upcoming Oppo Find X9 Ultra. It is being said that this phone may have two 200MP cameras.
On the other hand, the competition in the Android market has become quite fierce. For example, the Vivo X300 Ultra is expected to have a dual 200-megapixel camera system, which will include:
- Sony LYTIA-901 main sensor
- Samsung HP0 telephoto sensor
But one important thing is that testing alone does not mean that the next iPhone will necessarily come with a 200MP camera. Apple usually releases new technology only after it has been fully refined, so it's possible that this feature will be introduced in the next few years.
In simple terms:
- Android brands have already moved towards 200MP
- Apple is now testing this technology
- But it's not certain that this feature will come to the iPhone anytime soon
