Turkish actress Ece Irtem dies at 35

Turkish showbiz industry's leading actress Ece Irtem has passed away at the age of 35. The sudden death of the actress, who played the role of 'Aşıl' in the popular TV drama 'One Love', has left fans and the artistic community in shock.

According to Turkish media reports, Ece Irtem was found unconscious in her home on Monday afternoon. She was at home with her mother when she suddenly faced a medical emergency. Tragically, she could not be saved.

According to the actress's lawyer, Uğur Gköyun, initial medical examinations suggest that her death was due to a heart attack. However, a formal investigation into the incident is underway and the final cause of death will be revealed only after the postmortem report comes out. The lawyer also denied the news circulating on social media that the actress committed suicide.

Ece Irtem had celebrated her 35th birthday a day earlier, after which the news of her sudden death shocked fans even more.

Born on June 14, 1991 in the Turkish city of Sivas, Ece Irtem graduated from Yasar University’s Opera and Vocal Performance Department in 2014. She later received acting training at the Sadi Alisik Cultural Center in Istanbul.

She gained the most fame for her role as ‘Aşıl’ in the Turkish drama ‘One Love’, which made her one of the country’s rising talents. Fans and fellow artists are expressing their condolences on social media after her unexpected death.
