In the opening match of the Pakistan Super League, Lahore Qalandars' experienced opener Fakhar Zaman won another big honor with a brilliant performance.
Fakhar Zaman played an innings of 53 runs off 39 balls against Hyderabad Kingsmen, which included 10 fours. He was also declared the best player of the match for his excellent batting.
With this half-century, Fakhar Zaman became the second batsman to score 3000 runs in the history of PSL. He has scored 3017 runs in 98 matches at an average of 31.10 and a strike rate of 141.90, including 2 centuries and 24 half-centuries.

He has also become the first player to score 3000 runs for a single team in PSL, which is a unique honor.
The top scorer in terms of runs is Babar Azam, who has scored 3792 runs in 100 matches while leading Peshawar Zalmi. While Mohammad Rizwan is at number three on this list.
Furthermore, Fakhar Zaman also has the distinction of hitting the most sixes in the PSL, where he leads with 128 sixes, while Asif Ali and Rilee Rossouw are at number two and three respectively.
As a result of the match, Lahore Qalandars won by 69 runs and started the defense of their title in a victorious manner.
