PSL 11: Batting-friendly pitches ready for a rain of runs, grand preparations begin

Preparations for the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League are in full swing, and this time fans will get to see more scoring matches as batting-friendly pitches are being prepared.
The event will begin on March 26 in Lahore, where the Gaddafi Stadium will host the opening match. Defending champions Lahore Qalandars will face new franchise Hyderabad Kingsmen.
This time, 8 teams will participate in the league for the first time, including Rawalpindi. The event will last for 39 days, in which a total of 44 matches will be played, while the final will be held in Lahore on May 3.
The matches will be held in 6 cities, including Karachi, Multan, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and Peshawar. For the first time, Faisalabad and Peshawar have also been given the opportunity to host.
Strict security arrangements are being made, especially additional cameras are being installed at the Nishtar Park Sports Complex to provide a safe environment for players and fans.
Ticket sales have also started and this time the prices have been kept relatively low so that more people can be a part of this cricket festival.
The participation of international players is also being ensured, including Steve Smith, Glenn Maxwell and Marnus Labuschagne.
To make the event more memorable, the official anthem has also been prepared, which has been sung by Atif Aslam, while the opening ceremony and other activities are also being finalized.
Players of all teams will start arriving in Lahore from March 23 so that full preparations can be made before the event.
