Salman Khan issues legal notice against producers of the film 'Kala Hiran'

Bollywood star Salman Khan has issued a legal notice to the producers of his upcoming film ‘Kala Hiran’, accusing them of violating his personality rights.

Salman Khan’s legal team has sent a notice to the film’s casting director Akshay Pandey, demanding an immediate halt to the release and promotion of the film.

According to the notice, the film is inspired by Salman Khan’s 1998 deer hunting case and they are not allowed to use his name, picture or anything resembling the incident in the film. Salman Khan’s team says that the film may violate his right to a fair trial, which is still pending in the Rajasthan High Court.

On the other hand, the film’s director Bharat S. Shrinit and producer Amit Jani have rejected the allegations and said that the notice is an attempt to harass them. The filmmakers claim that the film is inspired by real judicial and legal incidents.

The film's promotional poster shows a man who bears a striking resemblance to Salman Khan, holding a gun and wearing Salman's famous turquoise bracelet.

The controversy has once again brought Salman Khan's 1998 deer hunting case, which is still pending in court, into the spotlight.
